More Vegarse
Not much to say here - what follows are some photos from my Dad's camera while we were in Vegas.
This is the MGM Hotel, designed after a movie studio of the same name. The overall affect is to resemble Hollywood, and at this, it succeeds rather spectacularly.
Just for you Dan - a rather nice bike parked outside our hotel. Actually, there was an American Chopper bike inside the Excalibur where we were staying, and a whole bank of pokies you could win it on.
Well, it wouldn't be Vegas without Elvis, would it?
The Excalibur, where we stayed. Like I said previously, the hotel designs are whacked. Very cool though.
This is the Monte Carlo - I personally didn't see this one, but one assumes it would have a European flavour to it.
New York, New York. The New York skyline is brought to life in Las Vegas. Probably a good thing they didn't design this with the World Trade Centres, otherwise some serious remodelling would have been in order.
Apparently you can get anything Vegas. And I do mean, anything.
And finally, the Hotel Luxor, which, as you may have already guessed, is somewhat Egyptian in theme. Very cool.

Paul,
Have spent the last hour catching up on your adventures - the air museum would have to be the highlight (at least for me!).
Say g'day to your Dad and keep blogging
Dave
Hey David,
Dad and I commented a few times that you would have loved the air museum. I've got loads more photos of other planes that they had there - Avengers, Hellcats, various Jets, P-40's etc etc etc, so you'll be able to see all those when I, or Dad, return.
Cheers
Holy Cow! More money than good taste floating about that part of the world...
Looking forward to the next installment of you travels :) Your blog is a very entertaining read!
