Rule Britannia, Blah Blah, de Blah Blah Blah
Just a quick update.
So far I have been in England for the grand total of a day, and am finding it very interesting. At the moment I'm in an internet cafe (briefly) to check on emails and stuff. I'll post a fuller roundup of the going's on tomorrow night, with pictures, but suffice it to say I've seen HMS Belfast, Tower Bridge, a quick stroll through Westminster, Downing St and drunken Aussies on the tube.
Looks the goods thus far. The plan is to spend about three weeks seeing England, Italy, Normandy etc with the family - then find work and a place to stay. Looking forward to being paid in pounds, as Aussie dollar exchange rate is so dreadful it really cramps your ability to buy anything.
Tons of Eurotrash in this place. World Cup fever at insane levels. Must watch game tomorrow. GO AUSTRALIA!
